Direct link to topic in this publication:

For the accounting of funds arriving from customers through the iikoCard5 system, create a new payment type. It is used to pay orders with guest’s account funds and accrued bonuses, and allow to transfer order amount towards proceeds.

InformationNote. If you use iikoCard5 system only for granting discounts and furnishing promotional gifts, then you don’t have to create a payment type.

iikoRMS version 5.1 and later

To add a new payment type in iikoRMS version 5.1 and later, follow this:

  1. In the iikoOffice main menu, select Retail Sales | Payment Types and click the Add button.
  2. In the Name field, enter the payment type name.
  3. In the Type field choose Non-cash Payment.
  4. In the Non-Cash Type field select iikoCard5 System.
  5. Click Get Marketing Programs with Payment Action on the Advance Settings tab. This will result in downloading a list of active offers from iikoCard5 server, which imply payment for an order with funds on a customer’s account. Settings of such special offers include the Account Payment action.
  6. Check those special offers, which can be paid using such type of payment. You may select one or more programs for one type of payment. For instance, it is convenient to use different payment types for invoicing different companies participating in corporate catering programs. Some programs may have one payment type. In this case, when taking a payment, it is enough to swipe a guest’s card once to use funds from both accounts. This will result in debiting maximum permissible amount from one account, and the remaining amount from the other.

For instance, in one payment type you can concurrently select the following:

  • Deposit and Food (subscription) programs.
  • Corporate catering programs: Lunch and free-of-charge milk.
  • Simply a bonus program and Birthday Bonuses.
  1. Click Save.

If there is an active bonus program, then to pay an order using bonuses, create a special payment type. Its settings are similar to the ones given above in the section. But you should select only the required bonus program from the list.
