Please review the following guidelines:

  1. In case you use centralized order taking in the call center, a delivery terminal displays notifications (see Delivery Work Screens).
  2. A typical scenario of order processing from creation to closing in case of successful delivery is described in the Typical procedure for working with an orderguide.
  3. Overview of Order Processing Procedure at an Outlet is given and is detailed in the Order processing guide.
  4. Delivery customers may participate in loyalty programs (see Plazius for delivery customers).
  5. A customer can be blacklisted (see Blacklisted customer).
  6. When you save an order or send it to the kitchen, some items can be automatically added to it with account of the bill split (see Order items, and Splitting the bill).
  7. If necessary, you can make changes to the order, for example, change the delivery address or order items (see the Editing an Order guide. You can cancel the delivery (see Order cancelling).
  8. You cannot close the cash register shift if there are open deliveries (see the Check on open deliveries when closing a till shift guide).
  9. Customers may pick up their orders themselves (see the Collection orders guide).
  10. When creating an order, limitations set for the outlet in the Work schedule and Mapping settings can be checked (see Checking order execution conditions at an outlet).
  11. The driver can independently assign orders that are ready for delivery to himself (see the Order processing in driver mode guide).
  12. For the delivery orders placed in advance, you may be required a confirmation (see Delivery Confirmation). You can do this by clicking (1) Unconf. on the delivery processing screen.
  13. When you enter a short phone number of the customer, the system can automatically add the area code (see Entering Short Landline Numbers).
  14. The terminal can be connected to PBX. You can receive calls and make calls to customers and drivers. The system will find an existing customer's order by the incoming call number, if it exists. If a customer has no open orders, the system will automatically create a new order (see Phone Calls in iikoFront).
